The DUALSPEC instrument (blue) outside the biological shield (light green) of the National Research Universal (NRU) reactor at Chalk River Laboratories is made up of two of the six neutron beamlines for materials research operated by the Canadian Neutron Beam Centre. DUALSPEC was designed and built by Atomic Energy of Canada Ltd, and later transferred to the National Research Council in 1997.
