Search for Neutrino Trident Events in IceCube

Abstract

Neutrino trident production (NTP) is a standard
model (SM) sub-dominant process that
can be used as a powerful probe for the
search of new physics. In this article, we
explore the possibility of detecting NTP
events at the IceCube neutrino observatory
using atmospheric neutrinos.
