Abstract
Triple-axis neutron scattering is the technique of choice for studying collective excitations in condensed matter. This technique has been instrumental in unveiling spin excitations in highly correlated electron systems such as high Tc cuprate and the more recent iron-based superconductors and quantum magnets. This article briefly reviews recent research highlights on such materials using the triple-axis facilities at the Chalk River NRU reactor.
